Before I kick over another year on the odometer, I just wanted to acknowledge that this is a good thing. Aging and all. I mean I prefer to say I’ve survived another year, but aged is a good word for it too. More distinguished.

The shitty part of growing older as I see it is not changing. Being the same person you were in high school, college, or your mom’s uterus. I mean if you would still make the exact same choices as you did 10 years ago, then you’re not learning. You’re not paying attention. That would be a total waste.

So as we grow worse looking, let’s just hope that we grow wiser. Otherwise what’s the point? Besides cake of course.
